Natural Resources Job Board

· Course work towards degree in fisheries/wildlife or related field.

· Responsible, dependable, independent worker capable of physical activity.

· Ability to work long hours (8-12 hours per day) in the field with limited supervision. (This is not a part-time position.)

· Understanding of basic management practices and willingness to learn.

· Applicants must pass a pre-hire drug screening to be considered for employment.

· Clean driving record is required.

· Some overnight travel required.

Job Description:
Applicants will have the opportunity to work in the field performing day-to-day management of numerous ponds and lakes in Texas and surrounding states with an emphasis in Aquatic Plant Management and Trophy Fisheries Management. This is a seasonal full-time position, working February through June.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Electrofishing

· Data Collection

· Transporting and Stocking Fish

· Aquatic Herbicide Application

· Fertilizer / Lime / Gypsum Application

· Other Duties As Assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 per hour
