Description
The following duties/responsibilities will be taught:
  • Fountain, aeration, lighting, and water well function, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Aquatic vegetation identification, treatment practices, and standards (herbicide & algaecide identification, labels, dosage rates, application methods and precautions)
  • Perform and identify concerns in basic water analyses
  • Erosion, Bulkhead and Outfall inspections
  • Prepare field reports, invoices, and email communications for customers
  • Effectively lead and mentor a team of field technicians

Other Job Task:
  • Load/Clean/Prepare the truck for each day 
  • Clean and maintain fountains, lakes, and ponds
  • Aquatic Vegetation control
  • Perform water analysis
  • Trash removal from client locations
  • Help maintain a clean shop facility
  • Other duties as assigned

License/Certification(s):
  • Driver’s License with 5 years driving experience (Required)
  • Clean driving record to be insurable on a commercial insurance policy

Experience:
  • Wildlife & Fisheries Degree, Related Biology Degree, or Previous Experience in Related Field (Required)
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Experience operating a boat
  • Ability to drive a truck with boat and trailer attached
  • Aquatic field, mechanical, and electrical maintenance is a plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in and around water, including working in a boat
  • Lift/Carry 50 lbs or more multiple times throughout the day
  • Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring lakes and ponds
