Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an environmental intern in the Frisco, Texas office. As a leading consulting firm with offices located across the state of Texas (and beyond), the selected individual will gain extensive experience that will help boost an exciting career moving forward. This opportunity will provide exposure to all aspects of our business and not have you sitting at a desk for three months.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Research, collect, and analyze environmental data.
- Perform wetland delineations, stream analysis, tree surveys, acoustic monitoring, and listed species habitat evaluations.
- Collect field data via GPS.
- Create maps/figures in GIS.
- Report writing/permitting.
Qualifications:
- At a minimum, completion of sophomore year for undergraduate degree in wildlife fisheries, forestry, range, biology, or ag related degree plan.
- Excellent communication and interpretation capabilities as well as extreme attention to detail.
- Proficient research and writing skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and adapt to various working environments.
- Multi-tasking
- Positive attitude.
