High school students earn college credit through participating in lectures and discussions, scuba diving and assisting with field research as they travel with their group, gain new skills and build connections with their group.

Broadreach Instructors mentor and supervise a group of students as they travel to different locations and interact with local outfitters. As the academic lead for a program, you will be responsible for issuing and grading assignments including journal entries, research presentations, midterms and finals. We will provide course syllabus and program materials to our instructors prior to the summer.

Our most successful instructors are positive, flexible, team players who are able to create a fun, cohesive and supportive community. Groups typically have 8-12 students and 2-3 Broadreach Instructors. Instructors will attend a week of training and then lead programs in June, July and August.
