Reptile & Amphibian Surveillance Research Assistantship
In partnership with the Institute for the Ecology and Conservation of Nature (IECN), based at Vinh University in Vietnam, Field Projects International has openings in a new field research assistantship program in September 2025.

Reptile & Amphibian Surveillance - Vietnam: Join a field research team in Vietnam’s Annamese Mountains to collect long-term survey data of natural and disturbed amphibian and reptile communities. Participants will conduct transect surveys of amphibians and reptiles, gaining hands-on experience in wildlife disease surveillance in a challenging, remote tropical environment. Participation is encouraged by individuals who are interested in research or conservation of natural resource areas and wildlife - especially amphibian and reptile enthusiasts - , who are in good physical & mental health and can respectfully immerse themselves in a culture that is unlike their own.

- Location: Nghe An Province, Vietnam (beginning and ending in Hanoi)
