Description
What do our Nuisance Wildlife Biologists do?
As a Nuisance Wildlife Biologist with us, you get to do a little bit of everything that we do as a company! Your days can be dynamic and vary from headhunting and generating sales leads, to completing home inspections for wildlife exclusion and pest control work, and completing the services that you sell for pest exclusion and the home repairs that go along with all that! This position has the opportunity for building relationships with the customers and the neighborhoods that we service. Our colleagues serve as intermediaries for human-wildlife conflicts and work with residential and commercial clients. Our dedication to customer service and quality wildlife/pest control makes us highly respected within the communities we serve.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Completing home inspections for wildlife exclusion, pest control, and home repairs.
- Selling wildlife exclusion and pest control services to customers, and scheduling business.
- Headhunting to generate new business leads.
- Working outside in all weather conditions.
- You’ll have to be okay with working in tight, confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, as well as roofs and working on ladders. We work where the wildlife go!
- Will be required to obtain any required industry licenses that will be provided and paid for by the company.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and make sure it and all other equipment is kept clean.
- Lots of moving around — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. You’ll go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. And you’ll need to keep your balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces. (You’ll definitely get your steps in)
- You’ll be responsible for building relationships with customers, scheduling and confirming their appointments, helping with sales to current customers, and expanding our product to new customers
Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in the area of pest control.

- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in both internal and external settings.
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
