Job Title: Environmental Scientist (Natural Resources)
Energy Renewal Partners (ERP) is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist to join our team.
Energy Renewal Partners is a leading environmental and permitting consultancy supporting renewable energy development across the U.S. We are passionate about protecting natural resources and supporting our clients through every stage of project development.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Environmental Scientist to join our collaborative and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those with minimal professional experience to grow their skills in renewable energy permitting and environmental consulting.
Responsibilities may include the following:
· Assisting with environmental reviews and permitting documentation for solar, wind, and battery storage projects
· Supporting fieldwork activities such as wetland/stream delineations, habitat assessments, and vegetation surveys
· Helping prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) under supervision
· Contributing to technical writing and data analysis for reports and permitting documents
· Conducting background research on site conditions and applicable regulations
· Supporting coordination with regulatory agencies under the direction of senior staff
· Assisting with preparation of permit applications and environmental deliverables
· Participating in site visits and field surveys, with travel up to 40% under varying field conditions

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources or a related field
· Up to 2 years of relevant experience (internships or fieldwork experience may substitute)
· Familiarity with key environmental regulations such as the Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act
· Interest in wetland/stream delineations, species habitat assessments and environmental site assessments
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Good written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Willingness to travel for fieldwork (up to 40%)
· Basic experience with ArcGIS and Microsoft Office suite a plus
Location: This role is based in Austin, Texas office
