We are seeking Seasonal Wildlife Technicians to join our team and assist with critical fieldwork during our busiest seasons.

Position Summary:
As a Seasonal Wildlife Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced wildlife biologists and other wildlife technicians and landowners to perform habitat management activities and land stewardship tasks. This is a hands-on, outdoor position requiring a passion for conservation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in rugged terrain and variable weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Conduct habitat assessments, feeder refills, fire ant treatment and other activities.

·         Implement habitat management practices (e.g., brush clearing, invasive species removal, prescribed burns, feeder and water station maintenance).

·         Collect and record field data accurately.

·         Assist with the installation and maintenance of wildlife management structures.

·         Communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

·         Pursuing or holding a degree in Wildlife Biology, Range Management, Natural Resources, or a related field.

·         Experience with fieldwork in variable weather conditions.

·         Comfortable using GPS, maps, and basic hand tools.

·         A reliable pick-up truck is required for travel to and from job sites; mileage reimbursed.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience operating ATVs and small equipment.

·         Familiarity with Texas native plants and wildlife.

·         Prior experience working with private landowners is a plus.

What We Offer:

·         Competitive hourly pay.

·         Mileage reimbursement.

·         Opportunity to gain valuable field experience in wildlife management.

·         Networking opportunities with experienced wildlife biologists and conservation professionals.
