Natural Resources Job Board

We are inviting passionate individuals to become part of a mission-driven team dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native Texas wildlife. We’re looking for interns who are deeply committed to wildlife conservation and/or veterinary medicine, and who are ready to meet the physical, mental, and emotional challenges that come with caring for wild animals in need. Our wildlife shelter takes in over 2000 injured, sick, or orphaned animals annually. As an intern you will work hands-on under the direction of a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitator. During this time you will be expected to provide quality animal care on a daily basis. You will learn triage examination, diet preparation, daily husbandry, enrichment, continued medical care, and feeding skills for neonatal patients.
