Description
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Policy Analyst to join our team and help us achieve our goals. As an Environmental Policy Analyst at EEC Irrigation, you will play a crucial role in guiding our company's environmental practices and policies. You will work closely with our team of engineers, scientists, and business leaders to develop and implement policies that align with our mission and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of environmental policies and regulations related to the irrigation industry
- Monitor changes and updates in policies, laws, and regulations and communicate their potential impact on our operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with governmental agencies and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulations
- Assess potential risks and opportunities for the company related to environmental policies
- Assist in the development of long-term sustainability goals and strategies
- Use data and insights to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for policy changes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in environmental policies and sustainability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental policy analysis or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental policies and regulations
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information
- Prior experience working with governmental agencies and regulatory bodies
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
