Description
Description: The USDA/APHIS/WS National Wildlife Disease Program is hiring a wildlife biologist to assist wildlife disease surveillance logistics and data management. Duties will include sample shipping and receiving, data entry, data visualization, and science project logistics. This position is located at the National Wildlife Research Center in Fort Collins, CO and is not remote.

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-06 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrate experience with:
- Study design for wildlife and/or wildlife management field studies.
- Data collection, organization, cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and reporting using appropriate software.
- Coordinating day-to-day operations with other biologists on the team.
- Conducting laboratory duties including inventory, organization, and maintenance of project equipment.
