Fall and Winter Fawning and Deer Breeding Assistant - Internship   

Next Level Whitetails is seeking 2-3 individuals for a fall and winter hands on internship program within our
whitetail deer breeding operation. Additional duties will include assisting with the overall care of fawns and the fawning facility, as well as overall deer farm maintenance.

Some of the main duties will include, for example only:
● Socialization of fawns, replenishing food and water
● Assisting with deer breeding
● Performing physical and behavioral observations as part of a health check
● Documentation of fawns daily wellness
● Maintenance of deer and fawn pens

Other duties may include:
● Administering medications and giving vaccinations as needed
● Tagging fawns and assessing overall herd health
● Cleaning outside feed and water stations in breed pens
●  Serving as a guide to hunters  
● General grounds maintenance (snow removal, tree limb cleanup, other tasks as assigned)

We are looking for positive attitudes and individuals that work well together as a team . Must be able to take direction and stay on task, but also be self motivated and to be able to be proactive and anticipate future needs with regard to tasks and inventory . Some of the job expectations are as follows:
● Possible long hours in all weather conditions
● Must be able to cook own meals and provide own food
● Keep a clean living space (which will be provided at no charge) and be a non-smoker
● Must be able to provide own transportation
