Description
An MS position is available in the Chandler and Rushing Labs at the University of Georgia to study population ecology and behavior of Black-throated Blue Warblers at the southern extent of their breeding range in the Appalachian Mountains. The student will design experiments and oversee field studies as part of a long-term project on peripheral population dynamics. The student will have flexibility to develop and address research questions using more than twenty years of demographic data. Applicants should have a BS degree in wildlife ecology, or a related field, and extensive passerine field experience. The anticipated start date is August 2026. Tuition will be waived and an assistantship of at least $24,000/yr for two years will be provided.
