Description
The Alaska Refuge Inventory & Monitoring (I&M) Program is hiring a seasonal Biological Science Technician position based in Homer, Alaska for the 2026 summer field season. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to conservation science across Alaska’s National Wildlife Refuges.

This field-based role will assist with summer botanical fieldwork and remote sensing projects across Alaska’s refuges. Expect hands-on experience in diverse Alaskan ecosystems and 50% or more travel.
