Description
Catarina Ranch, LP seeking Intern for the summer of 2024
Location: Catarina, TX
Salary: $1,800 a month plus housing
Start Date: Mid-May
Description:
Assist with daily operations of 7000-acre ranch in Dimmit County, Texas. Tasks may include helping with deer management program by filling and maintaining feeders. Intern will also assist with range management that could include mechanical and chemical brush management as well as general ranch maintenance. This would include, but not be limited to, fencing, road work, equipment repair and maintenance.
Qualifications:
College students and/or recent graduates in a ranch/wildlife management or related degree plan. Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated person with a strong work ethic. Candidates must maintain a valid driver license and are subject to background checks. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to tolerate Texas summer heat.
