Job Description: The Texas State Coordinator is responsible for providing programmatic and campaign support to Project Coyote’s state based efforts in Texas. The focus of this position will be to establish collaborative relationships, partnerships and coalitions in the region that help to expand Project Coyote’s core programs and campaigns—including our Carnivore Conservation, Coexisting with Carnivores, Keeping It Wild youth education programs and Artists for Wild Nature—into Texas. These foundational education and public outreach efforts will shift perceptions of wild carnivores toward positive and compassionate coexistence and lay the groundwork for long-term advanced policy reform goals. This position will support these efforts through science-based advocacy, public education, and close collaboration with local allies and partners. The ideal candidate has been an integral member of high-performing teams, is deeply committed to wildlife conservation, and is passionate about Project Coyote’s mission. We are looking for an ambitious team player to join a highly effective and exciting organization undergoing strategic expansion.
