NATURE CONNECTION APPRENTICESHIP
 Wild Remembering Nature Connection School is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic apprentice to live, learn, and work with us on our small creekside property near Cullowhee, NC. The apprentice will receive a unique education and personal mentorship through our nature connection school  while also learning the valuable skills of carpentry, habitat restoration, regenerative gardening and practicing healthy, mindfulness-based community living.
 
Our vision for this land is to create a peaceful and beautiful space  where people of all identities can feel safe, welcome, more fully alive, and more deeply connected to the more than human world. In service to that vision, our work here involves the daily upkeep, restoration, and  improvement of the buildings, gardens, and landscape to prepare the space for hosting workshops, courses, and small gatherings. 

In exchange for 16hrs/ week of labor, the apprentice will receive room and board- living in an off-grid Casita trailer and private cabin by the creek. Kitchen, Bathroom, and Wifi are available in a communal house 3 min walk from apprentice living space. The work schedule is flexible and the apprentice could easily have another remote or local part-time job for extra cash. 

Outside the immediate property recreation opportunities abound from hiking, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, to mountain biking. We are located 10 minutes from the Nantahala National Forest, 30 minutes from Great Smokies National Park, and 1 hour from Asheville.
