Waneck Whitetails LLC. is a deer breeding facility and is a valuable part of Red Rock Outfitters
LLC. which is a hunting operation located in Red Rock and Rosanky TX.
We are looking for a summer intern to help with fawn raising and other various activities such as
maintenance of fences, cleaning of the barn, putting out feed (50lb bags), cleaning water troughs, etc.
This internship is full time and will require long hours, often in the heat, with little time off.
There will be lunch breaks and possible other breaks throughout the day.

Requirements/Duties:
-6:30am-8pm days (some shorter or longer depending on events taken place that day)
-Milk and bottle preparation
-Bottle feeding
-Record Keeping
-Fawn care
-Tagging & Tattooing
-Vaccinating & other medications
-Feeding 50lb bags of feed
-Checking other deer and animals

Qualifications:
-Patient
-Can work in the heat
-Reliable
-Able to keep records
-Can lift 50lbs easily/repeatedly
-Communication skills
-Teamwork
-Quick learner
-Able to follow directions
-Problem solving skills
-Quick thinker when faced with a problem/issue
-Ability/willingness to give vaccinations and tag

Other:
-Any experience with livestock is valued.
-Any experience with a dart gun is valued.
-Interns must provide own transportation and have a valid driver’s license.
-If you are able to/plan to bring your own travel trailer/camper, please let us know in your
application! We have had interns in the past do this, so we have the electrical and water hookups
available.
-We will provide lunch/food occasionally. Especially when it has been a hard day with little
breaks.
-Housing provided

-We are a small family owned operation, so we try to make interns feel at home and part of the family.
