Job Description
Position Summary
The Sierra National Forest is looking for a motivated student attending and studying forestry at Reedley College. The intern will be an SCA member who will assist the Sierra National Forest in various aspects of timber sale preparation, including timber sale marking and other silvicultural tasks.

Required Qualifications
Applicants need to be studying forestry preferably at Reedley College or have a degree in Forestry.

Compensation 
Living Allowance-$350/week Travel allowance-$1,100 travel allowance Americorps Education Award-$2,626 upon completion of no less than 675 hours Housing provided by USFS
